MintID utilizes a proprietary algorithm which takes into account a visitor's metadata (browser information, geolocation data, time of visit), their self-reported information, as well as the historical activity of a user to determine any fraudulent behavior.
MintVine's community registration requires self-reported data from each user which we utilize as a baseline for checking the validity of each visit by the user.
This self-reported data, combined with our authentication tokens create a unique fingerprint for each user. This fingerprint is coupled with a real-time analysis of user's geolocation data: both in comparison to their self-reported data as well as checking against a live database of scored IP addresses for their trustworthiness (public IP addresses are trustedless). A delayed analysis is run after data is collected to further data on the user based on the other users activities on the site.
